This tool allows you to build an abuse report containing all the necessary information which we will then report on your behalf to the relevant abuse desk(s) in XARF format, so that it can be handled quicker and more efficiently than manually submitted unstructured reports that often lack sufficient detail. Some of the fields are required (e.g. you can’t submit the report without them) and some are recommended (e.g. if you don’t provide these, then the receiving abuse desk may not have sufficient information be able to take action) whilst others are completely optional. The rule of thumb for a useful Abuse Report is to provide as much information as possible along with as much evidence and facts as possible. If you need to do lots of reports and want to automate this process, you can do so using our free Data Channels service and API, it works in exactly the same way - you just have to supply the XARF yourself, and we have tools and libraries to help with this.
Report Abuse Form

Report Abuse Form: A clear and easy-to-use interface for submitting abuse reports.

Reporting Process

The reporting wizard guides you through a few simple steps to ensure your report is complete and actionable.
Note: By default, the form reports to us and abuse desks. If you deselect Global Reporting, the report will only come to us and our Guardian Ops customers if applicable.

1. Select Category and Type

First, select the category of the abuse you wish to report. In the next step, you will be asked to select the type of abuse. This ensures the report is routed correctly and contains the relevant data fields. For a complete collection of supported abuse types and their definitions, you can refer to the XARF Types Specification.

2. Enter Details

Next, provide the specific details of the abuse. The form is dynamic based on the category you selected.
  • Mandatory Fields (*): Required to submit.
  • Recommended Fields: Significantly increase the chance of action.
  • Optional Fields: Provide additional context.
Wizard Step 4: Entering Details

Enter Information: The wizard clearly indicates mandatory and recommended fields.

3. Confirmation

In the final step, you will see a confirmation summary of your report. You will also be presented with the generated XARF JSON that will be sent.
Wizard Step 6: Entering Details
