New Data Retention Policy
Please be advised that Abusix has implemented a change regarding our data handling policy on March 31, 2020. This decision was made based on feedback from our customers, input from our developers, and the growth and maturity of our infrastructure. We have outlined the changes and any next steps below.
Report data consists of all of the reports sent into AbuseHQ regarding your network. The max time that AbuseHQ will store this data is 365 Days, the default setting is 30 Days.
Each incoming notification that is handled by AbuseHQ is defined as an Event. Event details are typically what our customers want to keep the longest. The max time that AbuseHQ will store this data is 365 Days, the default setting is 30 Days.
Subscriber data is the identifying data that AbuseHQ uses to assign a user to an event. The max time that AbuseHQ will store this data is 365 Days, the default setting is 365 Days.
Case data is made up of all of the details incorporated in an AbuseHQ case. Because most of the data involved in the case may not be relevant or important, our customers typically decide to make case retention shorter. The max time that AbuseHQ will store this data is 365 Days, the default setting is 180 Days.
Current data retention configurations within your AbuseHQ instance that are under the max time allowed, will not be changed.
If your company requires a longer retention period, please reach out to our sales department via email [email protected].
If at any time you have questions or need support, please click on the chat bubble within AbuseHQ, and a support representative will address those shortly.
